Delray Beach events on Atlantic Avenue

This page lists events on and near Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida, with the date as the organiser publishes it and a link to that organiser. We checked every date on Oct. 20, 2026. Where an organiser has not posted a date yet, we say so instead of guessing. Four groups run the events on this page: the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) runs the GreenMarket; the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) runs First Friday Art Walk, Art and Jazz on the Avenue and Restaurant Month; the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce runs the Delray Affair; and the City of Delray Beach runs the 100-foot Christmas tree and the parades.

The holiday season: the 100-foot tree and the parade

The City of Delray Beach says its 100-foot Christmas tree has been a tradition since 1993 and is free to walk through. The tree goes up in mid October, the City says, because setting the structure takes 10 to 14 days and decorating takes about a month. As of Oct. 20, 2026 the City’s tree page still shows the 2025 season: the lighting and Yuletide Street Fair on Dec. 2, 2025, from 6 to 9 PM. No 2026 lighting date is posted there, so we do not give one. We will add it when the City does.

The 2026 Holiday Parade is in the same position. The CRA’s GreenMarket vendor form names Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026 as the City of Delray Beach Holiday Parade and closes the market that day. We found no City or DDA parade page for 2026, so the time and route are not confirmed.
