Older news stories with earlier rates still turn up in search. The rates on this page are the ones the DDA listed on Oct. 20, 2026.

Accessible parking

The DDA parking pages do not publish counts of accessible spaces, and we did not find the City’s rules for disabled permits at meters, so we do not state them. Ask Park Delray Beach at (561) 265-2100. At the beach, the City lends free surf chairs from four towers; see the beach page.

Skip the car: Freebee

Freebee is the City’s free, on-demand ride service in and around downtown, using low-speed electric vehicles. Use the Ride Freebee app, call 855-918-3733 or flag down a driver. The City describes the service area as most locations east of I-95 to A1A, and Gulfstream Boulevard to S.W. 10th Street. Hours are Sunday to Wednesday 11 AM to 9 PM and Thursday to Saturday 11 AM to 11 PM. Park once in a garage and ride to the beach. More options are on getting here.

Event days

Saturdays in season bring the GreenMarket to Old School Square from 9 AM to 2 PM, from Oct. 24, 2026 to May 22, 2027. The Delray Affair runs April 9 to 11, 2027. Plan to arrive early or use Freebee. Check the events page for dates.
