Delray Beach GreenMarket 2026-27

The GreenMarket is the Saturday farmers market at Old School Square in downtown Delray Beach, Florida. It is run by the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), so the CRA’s schedule is the one that counts. This page sets out the 2026-27 season as the CRA publishes it, the Saturdays it is closed, two dates where other listings disagree, and how SNAP and Fresh Access Bucks work there. Closed Saturdays in 2026-27

The CRA’s Rotating Vendor and Non-Profit applications for 2026-27 say the market is open every Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM except three dates:

• Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026: City of Delray Beach Holiday Parade.
• Saturday, March 13, 2027: City of Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Festival.
• Saturday, April 10, 2027: Delray Affair.

Two dates where the listings disagree

Dec. 12, 2026. The CRA lists it as closed for the Holiday Parade. The DDA’s GreenMarket listing still showed it as a normal 9 AM to 2 PM market day when we checked. We follow the CRA, which runs the market.

Jan. 2, 2027. This Saturday is not on the CRA’s closed list, so by the CRA’s rule it is a market day. The DDA’s listing skips it, jumping from Dec. 26, 2026 to Jan. 9, 2027. Treat Jan. 2 as open but call 561-276-7511 or check the CRA page first.

Since 1996, and the summer market

The CRA says the Winter GreenMarket started in 1996, and that a Summer GreenMarket, running June through July, was added in 2015. The 2026 summer market is over. The CRA has not published 2027 summer dates, a weekday or hours, so we do not list any.

SNAP and Fresh Access Bucks

The CRA says SNAP was launched at the GreenMarket in January 2022. Fresh Access Bucks give SNAP recipients up to $40 extra every market day to spend on local produce at participating vendors. Not every vendor takes part, so ask at the stall.

How many vendors?

Dozens. The sources give different counts: the CRA’s GreenMarket page says more than 60, a CRA news post of Sept. 30, 2026 says more than 70, and the DDA has said 50 plus. The CRA also takes applications from rotating vendors and non-profits.

Getting there and parking

The market sets up on the Old School Square campus at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Swinton Avenue. See our Old School Square page for the buildings.

• Cason Cottage Parking Lot, 5 NE 1st St: the DDA lists it as free, with no hours or time limits.
• Delray Beach Library Lot, 100 W Atlantic Ave: the DDA lists it as free.

Full rates and the parking picker are on the parking page. If you plan to ride Freebee, the City’s free on-demand service, note that the City lists its Saturday hours as 11 AM to 11 PM, so it does not run during the market’s first two hours.

Who runs the GreenMarket

The Delray Beach CRA says it was established by the City Commission on June 18, 1985. Its office is at 20 N Swinton Avenue, phone 561-276-8640. Vendor applications for the 2026-27 season were posted as CRA forms; the main vendor form shows that its application period has closed.
